Oklahoma §11-42-106.1

Late last summer the WSPOA Board of Directors called for the creation of a committee of Woodland Shores property owners (all interested parties are welcome to participate) to review Woodland Shores’ outdated covenants and suggest how they might be revised to reflect the growth and maturity that The Shores has undergone since it was established over fifty years ago. Members of the committee and the WSPOA board met with an attorney to discuss the covenant committee’s proposed changes. The attorney brought to their attention Oklahoma §11-42-106.1 which details the state law pertaining to the amendment of restrictive covenants on residential properties. The chairman of the covenants committee, Tim L., sent this highlighted copy of §11-42-106.1 for posting on this website so that Shores property owners may be informed about state law regarding the updating of our covenants.
