Feeding the Foxes.

I was going to give this post the title “Tim Lail Whistles at the Foxes” but as I was typing I realized that the meaning of the phrase could be misconstrued and seen as disrespectful to his wife (and my new friend) Debbie. So I went for the tamer title instead. But, still — when taken literally — that first title really would ring true. Because Tim Lail does whistle at foxes. And when he whistles, they come running.

Yep. Tim has trained some of our neighborhood foxes to come when he calls, and yesterday evening, just as it was getting dark, Debbie Lail snapped these photos of two adorable little foxes coming for dinner. Thanks very much, Debbie and Tim, for sharing these photos with us.
